The Tide Climbing Centre, located in north Cornwall, just 7 miles from Wadebridge, is a state-of-the-art climbing gym offering a range of adventure sports and leisure activities for all ages. With a focus on inclusivity, The Tide is proud to offer both bouldering and rope climbing under one roof, making it a unique and versatile facility.

The centre boasts over 100 bouldering problems, providing climbers with a wide variety of challenges to tackle. Additionally, there are 22 lines and 4 auto belay points for those looking to try their hand at rope climbing. The Tide aims to be at the forefront of inclusive climbing in the South West, offering taster sessions, inductions, and 1-to-1 coaching sessions to help climbers of all abilities access and progress within the sport.

For those new to climbing or with limited experience, The Tide recommends booking a bouldering induction or taster session, as this will provide the necessary basics and safety information. The Tide Climbing Centre strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for climbers of all levels.

The centre features a spacious bouldering area, offering over 600m of climbing space, making it the largest bouldering facility in Cornwall. From steep and overhanging walls to technical slabs, there is something to suit every climber's preferences and needs. The Tide also offers 4 auto belays, allowing climbers to ascend tall walls without the need for a belayer. These auto belays provide a thrilling experience and an opportunity to race friends to the top.

In addition to bouldering and rope climbing, The Tide Climbing Centre prides itself on offering a variety of fitness and wellbeing classes in its dedicated Fitness Studio. Daily yoga classes are available for those looking to enhance their flexibility and mindfulness. The centre also offers fitness sessions led by knowledgeable staff members, promoting overall health and wellbeing.

No climbing centre is complete without a caf, and The Tide delivers on this aspect as well. Their onsite Caf serves locally sourced coffee and a range of freshly cooked paninis and pizzas. The open plan design of the caf creates a welcoming atmosphere for climbers to relax and enjoy post-climb refreshments with family and friends. The Tide Climbing Centre is conveniently located at Unit 2 Barnfields Business Park, New Trevibban Farm, St Issey, Wadebridge, Cornwall. With opening times from 9:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and 09:00 to 20:00 on weekends, there is plenty of time to enjoy the facilities. Parking at The Tide is well-organised and adheres to strict guidelines. Upon arrival, customers are asked to drive through the working business park with a maximum speed limit of 5mph. Two parking areas are available, with the first being immediately outside the centre between the green fences. This area offers free parking, and customers are encouraged to park as close to another car as safely possible to ensure more people can enjoy the free parking.

The second parking option is located on the southern end of the big green building, which operates as a pay and display car park by an external parking company. Customers are reminded to supervise any children or excited adults while making their way to the reception area. It is important to park only in these designated areas to avoid receiving a parking ticket.
