Simon Robins, the Chief Instructor, has been practising tai chi for nearly 30 years. Having experienced numerous injuries in the past, Simon initially turned to tai chi as a means to improve his physical condition. However, he soon discovered that tai chi also brought about profound changes in his mental and emotional well-being. Tai chi became a conduit for wisdom and an opportunity for personal growth.
Cher Robins, also a Chief Instructor, is an accomplished practitioner and teacher of tai chi. Her journey into martial arts began in childhood, and she eventually found herself immersed in the practise of tai chi after a battle with ME/CFS. Cher's passion lies in exploring the internal energies and qualities of tai chi. As a secondary school teacher, she enjoys sharing her passion with students and witnessing their confidence and growth in their tai chi practise.
The School of Tai Chi Chuan and Internal Arts offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes regular classes, workshops, and one-on-one sessions.
