Irena's journey with yoga began several years ago, initially as a personal practise alongside her full-time office job. However, it was in 2014 that she truly connected with yoga, using it as a means to heal her hip and joint issues. After an accident, yoga became an integral part of her daily life, and her passion for the practise drove her to pursue a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy and teaching techniques.

As a qualified and registered yoga teacher, Irena shares her knowledge and experience internationally and locally, with The Salt Loft Yoga Studio being her base in Pembrokeshire. She takes great joy in teaching a diverse range of students, each with their own unique needs and abilities. Her aim is to share what she has learned from her teachers and personal experience, offering a sense of empowerment to her students that is influenced by her environment and travels.

Irena holds multiple qualifications, including Vinyasa Yoga Karma and Art of Adjustments, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Rocket Yoga (Ashtanga style), Yoga Anatomy, Breathing and Pranayama Coaching, Yoga Trapeze, Hydro Yoga (Aqua Yoga qualification), and Acupressure and Chinese Massage TUI NA. She has also attended numerous workshops throughout Europe and the UK, continually expanding her knowledge and skills.

With a focus on constant growth and improvement, Irena continues her practise and studies with some of the best Ashtanga teachers in the UK and Europe. She also maintains Professional Liability Insurance and has an up-to-date full DBS.
