“The Reiki Room Mow Cop” is a holistic healing centre located in the village of Mow Cop, East Cheshire, Stoke-on-Trent. The centre is run by a husband and wife team, Julie and Sean, who are trained Reiki Masters with 13 years of experience in the Usui Lineage. They are also joined by their long-term friend and colleague, Kim.
At “The Reiki Room Mow Cop,” they offer a variety of holistic services including Reiki Healing, Shamanic Healing using Regression, Extraction, and Journeying techniques, Body Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Holistic facials, Hopi ear candles, Sound Healing, Meditation practises using Shamanic drumming techniques, and Tarot and Oracle Card readings. Julie is also a Reiki Trainer and offers Reiki Training for those interested in learning this healing art. Sean specialises in Sound Healing using Himalayan Bowls and Gongs. The team is currently undergoing training in Shamanic healing and can provide techniques passed down through generations.

The Reiki Healers, Julie, Sean, or Kim, use gentle hand movements with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy, known as life force energy, through the client's body. Even if clients choose a facial or massage, the treatments are infused with Reiki healing, allowing them to benefit from the universal energy that Reiki provides.
In addition to healing services, “The Reiki Room Mow Cop” also offers Hatha and Restorative Yoga classes. Hatha Yoga focuses on mastery of the body and breath, integrating the energies of the sun and moon for balance in life. These classes are open to all levels and aim to cater to individuals of different ages, genders, and abilities. Restorative Yin Yoga, on the other hand, is a slower and more passive practise, focusing on longer-held postures to warm and stretch ligaments, fascia, and tendons.
This practise aims to slow down the mind, alleviate stress, restore energy levels, improve flexibility, boost circulation, and reduce tension. Classes are held at the Mow Cop Community Hall.
