Their dedicated community space also provides healing services such as Massage and Reiki, as well as Clinical Psychology and group work to support individuals on their journey.
The studio recognises the uplifting power of music on the body, mind, and spirit. They regularly host Kirtan nights, which are call and response singing and chanting sessions, as a form of Bhakti (devotional) yoga. These sessions are open to anyone, regardless of experience level, and foster a sense of connexion and devotion.
Meditation is an integrated part of yoga classes at The Open Space, and they also offer standalone meditation classes and workshops. They are committed to making this practise accessible to all and provide a free community meditation class every week. Through dance workshops and events, The Open Space encourages individuals to let go, experience ecstatic dance, and embrace improvisation. They invite guest DJs and improvisational facilitators to create a flow of joyous free movement.
