The founder of The Movement Connection, Megan Robinson, is a Movement Specialist and Equestrian Biomechanics Fitness Coach with years of experience in the fitness industry. Megan works with clients to identify which muscles are working effectively in their bodies and which muscles are not working as efficiently as they could be. She uses a variety of movement modalities, including Pilates, Yoga, and Strength & Conditioning, to work towards proper muscle firing patterns, improved range of motion, stability, core strength, and overall muscle awareness.
Megan's personal experiences with physical setbacks, including multiple kidney transplants, scoliosis surgery, and a recent diagnosis of Guillain-Barre Syndrome, have given her a unique perspective on rehabilitation and the struggles of recovery. She works with a wide variety of clients, from those recovering from injuries to elite athletes to individuals looking to improve their overall fitness and quality of life.
In addition to her certifications as a STOTT Pilates Instructor, Movement Specialist, and Equestrian Biomechanics Fitness Coach, Megan is continuously seeking to expand her knowledge through continuing education courses such as RideWell Performance and Equestrian Anatomy. The Movement Connection is a welcoming space where clients can work towards their fitness goals with the support and guidance of a knowledgeable and empathetic instructor.
