Teen Yoga Tribe is a vibrant and inclusive yoga studio located in Pinner. Dedicated to bringing together teenagers who are passionate about yoga, meditation, wellbeing, and personal growth, Teen Yoga Tribe offers a nurturing space where teens can relax, open up, rebalance, and embrace a positive and inspired mindset.
Founded by Shahn Ahmad, Teen Yoga Tribe was inspired by her experience at Awesomeness Fest in November 2014. Shahn is a dedicated Teen Yoga Teacher, Relax Kids Coach, and Maths Teacher, with a passion for helping children and teens connect with their true spirit and live authentic and fulfilled lives. Shahn's mission is to expand the practise of yoga and meditation to schools throughout London and eventually travel the world teaching yoga to teens.
At Teen Yoga Tribe, a team of teens known as the Teen Team assist in running the studio and raising awareness of the incredible benefits of yoga for teenagers. This unique approach allows the Teen Team to gain valuable work experience while being a part of a movement that transforms the lives of their peers.
Each week, Shahn teaches yoga to 80 children and teenagers, ranging in age from 8 to 17. Through her various certifications, including training with Dru Yoga and Teen Yoga, as well as Relax Kids, Shahn combines her expertise to create a safe and nurturing environment where teens can explore and develop their yoga practise.
Clients have expressed their gratitude for the positive impact Teen Yoga Tribe has had on their lives. They have found solace in the calming and relaxing atmosphere of the studio, with many mentioning how they have been able to apply the breathing and relaxation techniques they learned in class to cope with everyday stress and anxiety.
Shahn is highly regarded for her calming influence, warm and welcoming demeanour, and ability to connect with young children and teenagers.
