Te Atatu Pony Club

Te Atatu Pony Club, situated in Auckland, provides a variety of equestrian activities for enthusiasts, including show jumping, dressage, cross country, beach riding, and trail riding. Established by Sarah, the club offers top-notch coaching and a supportive community, all set against a stunning waterfront backdrop.

Sarah is particularly keen on welcoming new youth members. As a city fringe club, Te Atatu Pony Club allows members the convenience of grazing their horses or ponies on site, accommodating up to 18 horses in small groups to ensure a safe and pleasant environment.

A central aspect of the club is youth coaching. Sarah's team of experienced coaches delivers personalised guidance in small groups, helping each rider to develop their skills. The club also emphasises community involvement, encouraging families to engage in the care of riders, horses, and the club grounds.

Even if you don’t currently own or lease a horse, Sarah and her team can help. With their extensive connections within the Auckland riding community, they can assist you in finding the right horse or pony.

Te Atatu Pony Club also offers grazing for your horse or pony, allowing you to pay grazing fees for up to three months while you search. Prospective members need to complete the TAPC Grazing Application and Terms and Conditions. The club committee will review your application and confirm availability.

For adults over 25, there are limited grazing spaces. If interested, contact Sarah at the same email to inquire about current availability.

To join Te Atatu Pony Club, apply through the NZPCA Nominate system and review the Members Handbook beforehand. Note that space for grazing and coaching can be limited, and you may be placed on a waiting list if there are no immediate openings.
