Welcome to the Waitemata Bridge Club, a small and friendly club located in Covil Park at Te Atatu South in West Auckland. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, we welcome everyone who is interested in the great game of Bridge.
Our club offers a range of bridge sessions throughout the week, catering to different skill levels and preferences. On Mondays, we have an evening session from 7:15pm to 10:15pm. Tuesdays feature a morning session from 10:30am to 2:00pm. On Wednesdays, we offer a Junior/Novice session from 10:30am to 1:00pm, followed by an open session in the evening from 7:15pm.
Thursdays do not have a session at this time, but on Fridays, we have a morning session from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Lastly, on Saturdays, we offer an afternoon session from 2:00pm to 4:00pm specifically for newer players.
For those who prefer a more relaxed and social atmosphere, we also have a monthly Sunday Social Bridge session from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. This session is perfect for members who want to enjoy a leisurely game and learn from more seasoned Bridge players.
If you're new to Bridge or want to improve your skills, we also offer beginner, improver, and intermediate lessons. Bridge is not just a game; it is an excellent way to develop concentration and problem-solving skills. Additionally, it provides a great opportunity to meet new people and make lasting friendships.
At the Waitemata Bridge Club, we strive to provide a stimulating and challenging environment for all players. Our table money is $7 for most sessions, with a small plate per partnership for a shared afternoon tea during the Sunday Social Bridge sessions. We also host sponsored events with prizes to add excitement to our sessions.
