Come and dance with Tangoaires, the heart of tango in Liverpool! Led by the dedicated Paris Allen, this not-for-profit, volunteer-run dance school welcomes everyone to experience the magic of Argentine tango.

Every Tuesday night near Sefton Park, Paris and his team offer classes catered to all skill levels, held at the Unitarian Church on 57 Ullet Rd. Whether you're a complete beginner or have danced for years, you'll find a class that's right for you. Shake off the day with the Foundations in Technique class from 19:00 to 20:00, take a breather, and then dive into Technique in Practise at 20:15. The night wraps up with some social dancing from 21:15 to 22:00, giving you a chance to perfect your moves and meet fellow dancers.

Their Autumn term runs from 5th September to 12th December, finishing off with a festive party and milonga. Classes resume on 9th January 2024. For those who can't get enough, private classes are also on offer from 17:00 to 19:00 every Tuesday. Just check out their website for booking info.

Prices are straightforward and card-only: £8 for one class, £13 for two. Concessions are available at £5.50 for one class, £10 for two. For the true enthusiasts, there’s the Silver pass (£110) for one class a week, and the Gold pass (£180) for two classes a week throughout the term.

Paris, with over 30 years of dance experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for dance to every lesson. From ballroom to salsa, Paris’s diverse background enriches each class, ensuring they are engaging and fun.

Solo dancers, don’t worry—you’ll be welcomed with open arms. Partner rotation is encouraged but optional, and the community spirit ensures you always have someone to dance with.
