Tai Tapu Golf Club

Tai Tapu Golf Club, voted New Zealand's favourite 9-hole course by New Zealand Golf, is just 16 km from Christchurch along the Akaroa Highway. Alan Smith, the club's organiser, ensures the course welcomes golfers of all abilities. The tree-lined fairways and generous greens offer distinct challenges at each hole, making for an engaging game.

After your round, unwind at the clubhouse, which features a spacious balcony and bar service. The clubhouse is generally open during normal working hours, with the office available Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. An EFTPOS machine in the foyer ensures convenience when the office is unattended.

Green fee players are welcome. The best times to play are all day on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. On club days—Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday—green fee players can typically play after 1:30 pm on Tuesday and after 3:30 pm on Wednesday and Saturday.
