Founded in 2017, the Swinburne Amateur Football Club, also known as the Razorbacks, is an AFL football club located in Hawthorn, Melbourne. The club had a successful women's team from 2017 to 2021 but had to put the team on hiatus. However, in an exciting development, the club is now recruiting for a women's team to compete in the 2024 VAFA season, marking the beginning of a new era of success.

The Swinburne Razorbacks are not limited to just students of Swinburne University. The club extends a warm welcome to players, supporters, members, and volunteers from all backgrounds and experiences. Swinburne President, Chris Webster, emphasised the importance of success off the field, acknowledging the increasing competitiveness not only in football but also in areas such as governance, administration, and stakeholder engagement.

The strategic plan is divided into four key areas: governance and administration, treasury, stakeholder engagement, and match-day operations. Each area has specific goals that the club aims to achieve, contributing to seven key objectives and various key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout the plan's duration. This comprehensive plan demonstrates the club's commitment to excellence, player development, and creating a supportive environment for its members.
