Swimming enthusiasts in Hamilton, listen up! Dolphinz Swim School has an exciting Swimming Lessons program just for you.
This program is perfect for children aged 3 months to 3.5 years and takes place on weekday mornings from 9:30am to 1:30pm. Don't worry if weekdays don't suit your schedule, as we also have classes available on the weekends.
Our aim is to provide a positive first water experience for babies and a fun social hangout time for caregivers. We believe that learning to swim should be enjoyable and filled with lots of playing, songs, and games.
Our program includes structured lessons tailored to the age, confidence, and experience of the babies. For those aged 6 to 18 months, we have our highly popular Baby Bubbles class. The skills taught in this class are designed specifically for each baby's stage and development.
For children aged 1.5 to 3.5 years, we have our Swimming Stars program. This program focuses on teaching fundamental swimming skills and water safety. Children in the Swimming Stars level start with parent/child classes until they are able to touch the bottom of the pool.
Our program runs for a course of 10 lessons during a school term, with each lesson lasting 25 minutes. We also provide a 5-minute playtime between lessons to help ease the transition in and out of the water.
Morning lessons are available for children aged 3 months to 5 years, while afternoon lessons are open to children of all ages. We ensure that our lessons are designed to match each child's swimming ability. To ensure effective learning, we only teach one lesson in the pool at a time.
Each child enrolled in our program will receive a progress tracker booklet or certificate to keep a record of their swimming progress based on our Dolphinz swimming levels.
We offer free swimming assessments to ensure that every child is placed in the appropriate lesson. Our lesson timetable is flexible and changes each term to accommodate our swimmers' needs.
