Our Learn To Swim Programme is perfect for adults who are new to the water and want to learn to swim in a safe and supportive environment. We understand that water insecurities can be challenging, and our programme aims to increase your confidence, skill, and ability. Learning to swim has numerous life benefits and can improve your fitness and mental wellbeing.
If you are already a competent swimmer but want to enhance your technique, our Improver Programme is ideal for you. Whether you want to focus on breathing techniques, master a new stroke, or strengthen your overall swimming habits, our experienced instructors will guide you in understanding your swim and help you keep improving.
For aspiring triathletes or seasoned competitors, our Open Water Programme focuses on refining stroke technique, improving speed, building strength, and increasing efficiency over greater distances. You will learn new open water skills such as sighting, drafting, overtaking, starts, buoy turns, and feeding, all tailored to prepare you for upcoming events.
If you are postpartum or recovering from an injury and looking to increase mobility, flexibility, strength, and range of movement, our Recovery Programme is designed for you. These low-impact water sessions provide a safe and beneficial experience to aid your recovery process.
Swim-Life operates in a private, heated indoor pool located in the beautiful surroundings of The Butts in Brentford, West London. The pool is easily accessible and features a private changing room, shower, and WC. There is on-street parking available and private access to the pool.
Our swimming sessions are pre-booked in blocks of 6 or 12 sessions. We offer 1:1 sessions lasting 45 minutes at a rate of 55 per session. Alternatively, we offer 2:1 sessions lasting 1 hour at a rate of 45 per person. We highly recommend booking a single 45-minute lesson as a trial before committing to a block of sessions.
We understand that everyone's schedule is different, which is why we offer flexible session times. Our sessions are available from Monday to Sunday, with time slots from 7am to 4pm and 5pm to 8:30pm. Get in touch with us to check availability and discover your tailored Swim-Life programme.
In addition to our pool-based programmes, we also offer open water training sessions at various locations such as Shepperton Lake, Chattern Hill, Bedfont Lake, and Thames Young Mariners Petersham. These sessions provide practical training and advice to help you enjoy open water swimming during the season, which runs from May to September.
