If you've ever wanted to try your hand at kayaking or canoeing, our Adult Learn to Paddle programme is perfect for you. Designed for adults of all abilities, this programme will teach you the basics of paddling and introduce you to the different craft available. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, our qualified coaches will guide you through the learning process.

Once you have a solid foundation in paddling techniques, you can join our Development Group. This group is for paddlers who want to progress further and explore various types of craft, from racing canoes to white water kayaks. Here, you'll refine your manoeuvring skills and gain confidence in different water conditions.

For those who have excelled in the Development Group, our Advanced Paddler programme offers a more competitive and challenging experience. This group focuses on squad training and crew participation in local and national events at a competitive level. If you're looking to take your paddling skills to the next level and compete against other skilled paddlers, this programme is for you.

We offer a range of camps throughout the year to provide an immersive and fun experience for our junior members. Our Half Term Junior Rowing Camps, Easter Junior Rowing Camps, and Summer Junior Rowing Camps are open for bookings. These camps are designed to enhance skills, promote teamwork, and provide an exciting opportunity to train in a supportive environment.

Our Junior Learn to Paddle programme is perfect for young individuals who want to explore the world of kayaking and canoeing. Under the guidance of our qualified coaches, our junior members will learn the fundamentals of safe paddling in a series of 90-minute sessions. Through this programme, they will develop their skills and confidence on the water.

Once juniors have a good understanding of kayaking and canoeing, they can progress to our Junior Learn to Lead programme. Here, they will have the chance to experience different craft with varying stability and skills, including racing canoes and white water kayaks. They will perfect their manoeuvring techniques and develop a deeper understanding of the sport.

For juniors who have excelled in the Learn to Lead programme and have a solid grasp of racing techniques, we offer the Junior Learn to Race programme. In this advanced programme, our junior members will receive specialised coaching to further enhance their skills and compete in local and national races.
