The club was established by Charlie Simms, a dedicated sports enthusiast who wanted local kids to have the opportunity to play football. He worked tirelessly to revive the club after a hiatus of more than a decade. Starting with just two teams, the club has grown into a thriving organisation under the leadership of Charlie, who held various roles, including President, Registrar, League Delegate, Social Organiser, and Football Manager.

The gym is located within the Surrey Park precinct, co-tenants with Surrey Park Football Club, Surrey Park Netball Club, and Surrey Hills Cricket Club. This collaborative environment fosters a sense of community and provides athletes with access to a range of sporting opportunities.
