Yoga practise. The studio is led by Sue Cordery, a highly experienced and passionate yoga instructor with a deep love and connexion to yoga.
Sue's journey with yoga began many years ago, and she has dedicated most of her adult life to the practise. At the age of 69, Sue even started practising Handstands and Callisthenics to further her own practise and push her boundaries. This dedication and commitment to personal growth and exploration are evident in her teaching style.
After retiring, Sue decided to share her love for yoga and its numerous benefits with others by becoming a qualified Hatha Yoga Teacher. She believes that yoga is a powerful tool for personal growth, strength, and overall well-being. Sue is committed to helping her students age pain-free, remain strong and independent, and cultivate a deep connexion with their bodies.
Sue understands that yoga is not a one-size-fits-all practise. She encourages her students to step outside their comfort zones and explore new styles and techniques. There is always room for growth and discovery on the yoga mat, regardless of age or experience. Sue believes that it is never too late to start and move better.
Her teaching philosophy revolves around looking after the body and recognising its incredible power and potential. She believes that happiness is not found in another place or another time but in embracing the present moment and finding joy in the practise of yoga.
Sue Cordery Yoga offers a range of group classes and courses suitable for all abilities. Her Hatha Flow Yoga classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at The Point in Tadley and are open to individuals of all levels. Sue also offers Gentle Flow Yoga classes on Tuesday evenings at Soul Barns in Mortimer Common, specifically designed for beginners.
