Studio North Dance Academy in Campbell River is a dance school owned and operated by River-Port Danceworks Ltd. The studio's flagship program, the Nutcracker, brings this classic holiday tradition to life for dancers on Vancouver Island. Dancers have the opportunity to join the touring cast, made up of island dancers who work together to create a magical performance. Auditions are open to dancers age 7 and up, with monthly rehearsals leading up to the December performances at the Tidemark Theatre in Campbell River and the ADSS Theatre in Port Alberni.
In addition to the Nutcracker, Studio North Dance Academy offers a variety of classes for students of all ages and levels.
