Studio Modern Martial Arts is a renowned martial arts school located in Warner, North Brisbane. They offer self-defence lessons in Kenpo Karate for children, teens, and adults. The Studio of Modern Martial Arts and Fitness Pty Ltd was established in late 2008 and opened its first full-time studio in Brendale, Queensland on March 7th, 2009. Since then, they have expanded their reach and opened a school in Springfield in February 2010. Currently, Kenpo Karate is the main focus at the Warner location, but the school has plans to introduce additional classes as the class sizes grow.

Classes at Studio Modern Martial Arts are held throughout the year, except public holidays, and there is a short break over the Christmas/New Year period. The school provides a detailed timetable for their Kenpo Karate classes at the Warner location. On Thursdays, they offer Cubs Kenpo Karate (children 4–6 years) at 5:30 pm, Tigers Kenpo Karate Beginners White to Purple Belt (children 6–12 years) at 6:30 pm, Tigers Kenpo Karate Advanced (children 6–12 years) at 7:30 pm, and Kenpo Karate for adults and teens 13+ at 7:30 pm. On Saturdays, they offer Cubs Kenpo Karate at 8:30 am, Tigers Kenpo Karate Beginners White to Purple Belt at 9:30 am, Tigers Kenpo Karate Advanced at 9:30 am, and Kenpo Karate for adults and teens 13+ at 10:30 am.
At the Springfield location (Ipswich), Kenpo Karate classes are conducted during Queensland's public school terms, and private sessions are available during the holidays. Instructors provide advance notice of any changes to class times. Classes at the Springfield location start at 5:45 pm for all students.
The class format at Studio Modern Martial Arts is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience. A standard children's session includes a warm-up of 5–10 minutes, which includes stretching and physical exercises, possibly even a warm-up game. This is followed by a 30-minute session of technique, drill, and training, where students learn basic requirements such as kicks, stances, foot manoeuvres, blocks, and strikes, along with self-defence techniques, forms, and sets. The grading/syllabus practise session of 20–25 minutes allows students to practise the materials and drills necessary for their next rank.
Optional games and a cool-down of 5–10 minutes are offered at the end of the session to wind down.
