Join CrossFit Toowoomba on Monday for a strength and WOD workout session. This session is all about improving snatch techniques and increasing weights gradually towards a 1RM (1 repetition maximum). Whether you're an experienced athlete or a beginner lifter, there's something for everyone.

Experienced athletes should start at approximately 50% of their maximum weight and make pre-planned jumps. It's all about pushing yourself and testing your limits. On the other hand, beginners should focus on improving their mechanics and keeping weights light. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on your technique and build a solid foundation.

After the strength portion, get ready for a challenging WOD (Workout of the Day). This workout consists of squat snatches and double-unders. You'll start with 12 squat snatches at 50/40 kg, followed by 150 double-unders. Then, it's 9 squat snatches at 60/45 kg and 120 double-unders. Finally, 6 squat snatches at 70/50 kg and 90 double-unders. It's a real test of strength and endurance!

The weights used in the workout represent 50, 60, and 70% of the 1RM achieved during the strength portion. It's a great way to see how your strength translates into real-life workouts. And don't worry if you're still working on your double-unders. There are skipping options available, allowing you to do 1–3 sets per round. It's all about progressing at your own pace.
