Street Dance Halifax is a vibrant dance school located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, dedicated to promoting and teaching the art of Hip-Hop dance in a respectful and inclusive environment. Founder Gal has been immersed in the world of Hip-Hop dance since 2012, training in Locking and expanding his repertoire to include other styles such as House, Freestyle Hip-Hop, and more. Having traveled internationally to learn from renowned dancers and pioneers, Gal brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his classes, which are open to dancers of all levels.

At Street Dance Halifax, dance classes cover a range of styles including Locking, House, Freestyle Hip-Hop, and Freestyle Exploration. The classes alternate between choreographies and focusing on the fundamental elements of the dances, allowing students to develop their skills and creativity in a supportive environment. Additionally, the school hosts All-styles free practices at the Halifax Central Library, providing a space for dancers to come together, exchange ideas, and simply enjoy dancing.
