Street Dance Academy (SDA) is buzzing with excitement! Jamie, the organiser, wants to share some fantastic updates with our amazing sports community.
Located right here in Stone, UK 🇬🇧, SDA is all about street dance. It's a place where students of all ages and abilities can dive into their passion for dance in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Jamie, along with a top-notch team of experienced teachers, has built a reputation for excellence in dance education. They're all about inclusivity and making everyone feel like part of the family, ensuring every student gets the opportunity to shine.
2023 was a year of milestones for SDA! They had a 100% Honours Pass Rate for their Medal Tests - a massive achievement. Not to mention, the Gfunk Junior Crew got to strut their stuff at the famous Dance Showcase, Dancers Delight, in the UK. They bagged plenty of trophies, including a standout win at the Breakin Convention, an international Hip Hop dance showcase.
At the heart of SDA's success is their incredible team, led by head teacher Wusty. The dream team features Codie, Lara, Abbey, Kim, Millie, Dan, and Leo. Plus, there's an amazing group of student teachers - Faith, Amalie, Gracie, and Sarah - who bring their enthusiasm and skills to the classes.
One of the highlights of the year was the formation of the Official Fundraising team led by Lucy Ransome and Lynn Walton. With committed parents like Ali Kay, Jamie Naylor, Colin Walton, Emma Naylor, Julie Nurton, Nolana Fielding, Rebecca Louise, Rosie Windsor, Tracey, and John Lavin, they've organised events and initiatives to raise funds for the dancers. These efforts help outfit the dancers for their performances and competitions. 🎉
SDA prides itself on being a tight-knit community. The dedication of the teachers, student teachers, and parent helpers has been crucial to the school’s success. Their unwavering support ensures that every student gets a chance to thrive.
