Experience 4 days of nourishment on the beautiful Stradbroke Island at the Stradbroke Island Retreat Yoga event. This retreat, hosted by Inspirit Health and Yoga, is specifically designed for women and offers an opportunity to deepen their yoga practice with dedicated time for Pranayama and Meditation. Participants can indulge in carefully prepared meals prioritising health and nutrition, providing nourishment for both body and soul.
During this retreat, attendees can take advantage of ample time to rest, relax, and restore in a serene space far removed from the demands of daily life. It's a chance to reconnect with the body, ground oneself, quiet the mind, and discover a space of inner stillness that can be returned to whenever needed. Through daily meditation and invigorating morning yoga sessions, participants will cultivate a sense of presence and find inner peace.
The Retreat incorporates Restorative yoga and Pranayama sessions to calm and relax the nervous system. Most of the food served is organic, sourced locally and within Australia, aligning with the ethos of sustainability, conscious eating, and the use of eco-friendly products. With a focus on enhancing well-being and health, the meals are wholesome, healthy, and delicious.
This retreat features Iyengar Yoga, and some prior yoga experience is recommended. The meditation practice is informed by the teachings of a Buddhist teacher, providing a holistic experience of self-reflection and restoration. As part of the retreat, participants will engage in daily or twice-daily yoga, pranayama, meditation, walks, swimming, enjoy all meals, and have accommodation and linen provided.
The retreat begins on Friday at lunchtime and concludes on Monday late morning. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the island. The current cost for the 4-day, 3-night retreat in 2025 is $1155 for Twin accommodation, $1275 for Single accommodation, and $1365 for Single accommodation with an ensuite. Optional massage treatments are available at an additional cost.
