Welcome to St Osmund's Sports Centre, located in Dorchester. This sports complex offers a variety of activities for everyone in the family to enjoy. During term time, the centre is open from Monday to Friday, 5pm to 10pm, and on weekends from 9am to 12pm. For larger weekend bookings and holiday opening hours, please inquire with the centre.
Individual courts can be booked up to 7 days in advance via email, and payment is accepted in cash only as card payments are currently not accepted. Block bookings of 10+ weeks can be reserved further in advance and will be invoiced. As the centre is located on a secure site, a code for access will be issued to allow for parking inside the property.
When visiting the centre, it is important to wear appropriate clothing and bring your own equipment. However, a limited number of rackets, paddles, balls, and shuttles may be available to borrow. Changing rooms and showers are also available for your convenience.

The sports hall at St Osmund's Sports Centre is a multipurpose indoor space that offers 4 badminton, pickleball, or short tennis courts, as well as 8 new table tennis tables. Additionally, there are cricket nets, indoor football facilities, a basketball court (full or half court), a volleyball court, and even space for rollerblading and kickboxing. The hall can also be used for dance, drama, and music events. Individuals, clubs, coaches, and societies are all welcome to run events at the sports hall.
Prices for racket sports are at $4 per person per hour, while the half hall can be booked for $22 per hour and the whole hall for $44 per hour.
The drama studio is equipped with a sprung wooden floor, black out walls, one mirrored wall, and stage lighting. It is suitable for dance, drama, and exercise classes. Qualified instructors and clubs are welcome to inquire about using this studio, which is available for hire at $22 per hour.
For those interested in playing pickleball, the sports centre offers 4 outdoor floodlit courts with a tarmac surface. Pickleball nets are provided, and a limited number of paddles and balls are available to borrow. The courts can be booked from Monday to Friday, 5pm to 10pm, and on weekends from 9am to 12pm. Additional hours can also be arranged.
The cost is only $4 per person per hour, and bookings can be made by emailing the centre.
The sports centre also features floodlit tennis courts that are available all year round. With 3 tarmac courts, the cost is $8 per court per hour, including the use of floodlights. Bookings for the tennis courts can be made by emailing the centre.
In addition to the sports hall and different court options, the sports centre also offers a studio hall. This indoor space is suitable for meetings, music rehearsals, exercise classes, and more. It is separate from the main sports centre and has its own toilet facilities. Clubs, group organisers, and qualified instructors are all welcome to hire this space.
