Effectively, but also to educate you on nutrition, recovery, and overall health and wellbeing. Our coaches are passionate about helping you reach your goals and will provide personalised guidance and support throughout your fitness journey.

Located in the vibrant New Gorbals area of Glasgow City Centre, our gym is housed in a 220 square metre railway arch. We take pride in our unique and welcoming space, which has been our home for the past 10 years. The atmosphere at Stella Bartram Fitness is friendly and inclusive, with members of all fitness levels and abilities feeling comfortable and supported.

At Stella Bartram Fitness, we are an approved U. K. and Scottish CrossFit Affiliate, meaning our gym follows the principles of strength and conditioning and incorporates everyday “functional” movement patterns into our workouts. Our classes include CrossFit Classes, CrossFit Conditioning, Barbell Club, and a weekly Team WOD.

We also offer open gym sessions, allowing members to come in and work on their own fitness goals. All of our workouts are scalable, meaning anyone can participate regardless of their experience or fitness level.

Group training is at the heart of what we do. Our membership options are based on group coach-led sessions, often referred to as WODs (workout of the day), which are programmed over a 5-day cycle. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we focus on CrossFit workouts, which may include strength-specific sessions, cardio conditioning, or gymnastics/bodyweight movements. Tuesdays and Thursdays are dedicated to CrossFit Conditioning, and Saturdays are reserved for Team WODs.

The unpredictability and variety of our workouts keep things exciting and challenging, ensuring that you never know what to expect when you walk through our doors.

We prioritise health and wellbeing above all else. We believe that movement is life, and by incorporating everyday movement patterns into our workouts, we help our members improve their overall health and wellbeing. Furthermore, we educate and support our members on the importance of rest and recovery, sleep, nutrition, stress management, and activity, seeing these factors as essential components of achieving optimal health.

Safety is of the utmost importance to us. We prioritise good movement quality and standards, and our coaches are trained to ensure that all exercises are performed safely and effectively. We understand that some movements, especially those involving a barbell or the rig, can be technical and complex, which is why we emphasise form before load. Our workouts are scalable to accommodate individuals of all fitness levels, ensuring that everyone can participate in a challenging workout that is within their capabilities.

What truly sets us apart is our community. We believe that we have the best community out there. We train together, support each other, and even socialise together. Unlike commercial gyms or group fitness classes, our focus is on individual coaching and education.
