St Albans Centurions

Welcome to the St Albans Centurions Rugby League Club! 🏉 Located in St Albans, Hertfordshire, this community-based club proudly boasts teams across various age groups: U12s, U14s, U16s, Masters (over 35s), and Mens (Seniors).

In 2022, the Centurions had a stellar season, topping the league and clinching the Cup Final. With the 2024 campaign on the horizon, make sure to check their website for the latest pre-season updates.

Sadly, the club announces the passing of longtime committee member and first-team photographer, Darryl Brown. He was essential to the Centurions, and his presence will be deeply missed. Thoughts are with Darryl's family during this tough time.

In recent U16s action, the Centurions triumphed over Hemel Stags with a 58-24 victory in the London League U16s Plate Final. Congrats to the lads! The Seniors had a tight match against Hemel Stags in the East Rugby League 2023 fixtures, narrowly losing 28-24.

Looking ahead, the Centurions have some big games lined up. The match against North Herts Crusaders on 29 July was called off, but the team is gearing up for a Play Off Semi Final against Bedford Tigers on 5 August. The Play Off Grand Final is set for 19 August.

The 2023 kit preview is out! It's still a mock-up without the sponsor logos, but fans can get a glimpse thanks to Weim Wear’s collaboration.

On the sponsorship front, the Centurions welcome back The White Swan and Hertfordshire Air Conditioning, alongside newcomers Umbrella Environmental, Mr Scalp, and Mrs Pauline Bottomley, honouring her late husband Tony.
