St Albans Bowling Club

Join the St Albans Bowling Club, the city's oldest, established in 1903. Situated in Clarence Park, this historic club remains a hub for bowlers of all ages and skill levels. With over 80 members, Alan and his team are always on the lookout for new faces to nurture.

Bowls is easy to learn, affordable, and inclusive. Free coaching and equipment are available for those wanting to give it a go. The club isn't just about sport; it’s a place to meet new people and get involved in a friendly community.

The playing season runs from April to September, catering for everyone from casual bowlers to those aiming to compete at county, district, and national levels. Clare and Colin Orchard handle recruitment and are eager to welcome newcomers, particularly during our open days.
