Stagecoach Performing Arts Portishead is a leading performing arts group and dance school in Bristol, NZ. Led by Principal Fae McIntyre, the school offers quality part-time training in the performing arts for children aged 4–18 years. The school has achieved remarkable success, both in performances and external recognition. Stagecoach Portishead students have performed in the West End twice, with medleys from the musicals 'Waitress' and 'Heathers'. They have also performed at the iconic Bristol Hippodrome to celebrate the school's 30th anniversary. In addition, Stagecoach Portishead holds the Guinness World Record for the most simultaneous performances for their rendition of Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast JR'.
The school's commitment to excellence is evident in their inspection results, with an independent reviewer at Trinity rating their quality of teaching and student progress as 'exceeded all expectations'. The reviewer praised the friendly and well-focused professional ethos, excellent management, and good behaviours for learning.
