Emmy Hamilton, Principal of Stagecoach Performing Arts Harrow, has a special message for the sports community. With a rich legacy of over 30 years, Stagecoach Harrow has become one of the longest-running performing arts schools in the Harrow area.
At Stagecoach Harrow, every child is given the opportunity to thrive. The dedicated team ensures students have fun while developing their artistic talents, building confidence, and honing communication skills. Plus, it's a great place to make new friends.
The school recently received an 'Outstanding' rating in its inspection, reflecting the hard work of both staff and students. Emmy is particularly proud of this achievement. Stagecoach Harrow provides extra value to its students, including being a Private LAMDA Exam Centre, offering Performance Arts Awards, written reports, theatre trips, specialist workshops, and professional representation opportunities. There's also the chance to join singing and dance troupes, which opens up more performance opportunities.
Currently, applications for the next term are open, but places are limited to keep class sizes small. Interested parents are encouraged to get in touch for more information, schedule a visit, or enrol.
Programs at Stagecoach Harrow include weekly classes for different age groups: 4-6 years, 6-18 years, and those specifically 15 and above, along with holiday workshops. Emmy leads a committed team, ensuring every child is in capable hands, with all members having undergone Enhanced DBS checks.
The school keeps parents and students engaged through social media and a noticeboard, sharing updates and important information. Stagecoach Harrow also celebrates its 100% LAMDA exam pass rate, with all students achieving Merits and Distinctions. Besides performing arts education, students can earn UCAS points, which is a great advantage for their future.
Stagecoach Harrow has enjoyed success in venues like the West End, The Swan at High Wycombe, and the Birmingham Symphony Hall. They also participate in private functions and charity events. Currently, Emmy and her team are preparing for the 30th Anniversary Production.
Moreover, Stagecoach Harrow is an officially Approved Assessor for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, allowing students to complete Physical, Skills, or Volunteering sections.
Classes for Early Stages (ages 4-6 years) run for 90 minutes, focusing on singing, dancing, and drama. These prepare young individuals for their next steps in artistic development.
Stagecoach Harrow is based at Rooks Heath School, Eastcote Lane, South Harrow, Middlesex, HA2 9AH. For more details, enrolment information, or to arrange a two-week trial, visit the website or contact the school directly.
