Ealing Skatepark Association is redeveloping the skatepark to better serve the local skateboarding community. During this period, nearby alternative facilities will be available. Updates will be posted on Ealing Skatepark Association's social media.
Gurnell BMX Track, next to Gurnell Leisure Centre on Ruislip Road East, Acton, London, is a top spot for BMX riders of all levels. The track includes various features like a bowl with depths from 4.5ft to 6ft, a long flat bank with a cheese wedge, and a combined ledge, manny pad, and angled block for street-style riding. There’s also a central volcano, driveways, an eurogap, and a large 4-set with a wall ride and a hubba ledge.
Additionally, an open-ended bowled section with pool coping, hips, and 3ft roll-ins adds to the dynamic experience. A 5.5ft wooden mini-ramp offers a place for riders to show off their transition skills.
The track is open access and free to use, with floodlights operational until 9 pm. Special events and theme nights, such as Girls Night, Seniors Night, BMX Night, and Bladers Night, are updated on Ealing Skatepark Association's social media.
Riders are advised to avoid using the track when it’s wet or icy. Busiest times are after school, evenings, and weekends, with quieter periods during weekdays and early weekend mornings.
A major redevelopment of Gurnell Leisure Centre will start in late 2019, including the construction of a new skatepark. Ealing Skatepark Association will provide updates through their social media and mailing list.
Visitors are encouraged to support Ealing Skatepark Association by joining their mailing list, following them on social media, and participating in the community. The association plays a crucial role in maintaining safe, clean, and well-used skateparks in Ealing.
