Stagecoach Chester, a local performing arts training centre in Chester, offers high-quality part-time classes for children and teenagers aged 4 to 18 years. The club aims to nurture and develop young potential through singing, dancing, and acting classes, providing an opportunity for young imaginations to soar and confidence to grow.
Leading the way at Stagecoach Chester is Karen, the Principal who has been with the organisation since 1993 and is a well-known local musical theatre director. With her guidance, many students have gone on to appear on television, in films, and on professional theatre stages, testament to the excellent training provided at Stagecoach Chester.
Joining Karen is Lindsay, who came on board in January 2009 after teaching at several other Stagecoach schools. Lindsay brings with her a wealth of experience, having earned a BA (Hons) in acting from Drama Centre London and worked professionally in stage, television, and film. Together, Karen and Lindsay ensure that Stagecoach Chester provides the cast for various local Bill Kenwright productions, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Evita.
Not stopping there, Stagecoach Chester also runs a regional choir consisting of students from Stagecoach schools in the North-West. This talented group has performed at prestigious locations like The Birmingham Symphony Hall.
