Chris, the organiser at Spirit Gymnastics Academy, wanted to share a little update with everyone in the sports community. Over in Yeovil, South Somerset and West Dorset, Spirit Gymnastics Academy has been putting in the hard yards to make a real difference in children's lives through sport. It’s quickly become the go-to place for gymnastics around here.
Chris and the team are all about keeping things professional and safe whilst making sure everyone feels right at home. Loads of parents have shared positive feedback about the top-notch care and expertise at the club. They're big on welfare support and always keep the lines of communication open with parents to ensure a great experience for the kids.
No matter the skill level, Spirit Gymnastics Academy has something for everyone. The club is all about offering fantastic opportunities to help gymnasts progress and thrive. Plus, there's a strong sense of community where children can make friends and feel they belong.
Proudly accredited by British Gymnastics and Sport England, the club has bagged several awards over the years. They were named Somerset Junior Sports Club of the Year in 2013. One of their coaches was the UK Young Coach of the Year in 2020 and a runner-up another year. And let's not forget being crowned Yeovil Young Business of the Year in 2021.
The club’s partnership with Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership as a Jump Start Club really helps in boosting what they can offer. This network has been a massive support.

They’re pretty serious about privacy on their website too, not collecting personal details unless you pop them onto the “Contact” page yourself. They do use Google Analytics but don’t worry, they’re not trying to ID anyone.
