Southampton Sailing Club is hosting an Open Day on Saturday 13th May 2023. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in sailing to visit the club and see what they have to offer. Attendees will have the chance to sail in one of the dinghies with one of the experienced instructors for their safety. In addition, there will be delicious food and drinks available from the BBQ. Southampton Sailing Club, a longstanding member of the community since 1910, offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sailor, the club provides a range of facilities and activities to cater to all interests. Located in a prime spot on Weston Shore, the club offers easy access to the Solent, ports, and harbours along the south coast. They also have an RYA approved training centre that offers dinghy and powerboat level 2 training. If you're thinking of transitioning from dinghies to cruisers, they have a fleet of dinghies available for loan, including Toppers, RS Quest dinghies, a Wayfarer, and a GP14.
