Founded in 2001 by Shihan Bernard Larochelle, Sonkeikan Budo has a rich history dating back to 1975 when it was originally known as Club Karate Magog. The school has evolved from a traditional Karate-Do school to a multidisciplinary institution that incorporates elements of Aikido and Jiu-Jitsu into its practice. The school caters to students of all ages, from 3 to 75 years old, with the goal of nurturing well-rounded individuals. The teaching approach is designed to minimize injuries and maximize learning through intensive practice conducted with respect and control among participants.
