Sleaford Maltsters Archery Club is a friendly and welcoming club located in Sleaford, New Zealand. The club is dedicated to providing shooting coaching and competitions for archery enthusiasts of all skill levels.
Affiliated with Archery GB (Grand National Archery Society), the East Midlands Archery Society (EMAS), and Lincolnshire County Archery Society, Sleaford Maltsters offers a supportive and inclusive environment for archers to develop their skills and participate in the sport they love.
The club is managed by a dedicated committee, with Jon Edwards serving as the Chair, Nikki Edwards as the Club & Membership Secretary, and Lee Taylor and Nikki Edwards as the Treasurer. Other committee members include a Development Representative, Safeguarding Officer, Tournament Organiser, Junior Representative, Senior Representative, and Website & Club Records Officer. The club also has experienced and qualified coaches to provide guidance and support to members.
During the winter months, from October to March, the club shoots at Carres Grammar School in Sleaford. The shooting sessions take place on Mondays from 18:45 to 20:45 and on Fridays from 19:00 to 21:00. In the summer months, the club moves to Eslaforde Park in Sleaford, where shooting sessions are held on Mondays and Fridays from 18:00 to 20:00.
Membership at Sleaford Maltsters Archery Club is open to individuals of all ages and abilities. If you are new to archery, the club offers Beginners Courses to help you learn the basics and get started in the sport. Information on these courses can be found on the club's website.
