Activities, we require all skaters to wear a certified ice skating helmet. Ski helmets are not recommended for ice skating, as they do not provide the necessary protection for falls on hard ice surfaces.
2. Are there any age restrictions for skating classes in Montreal? Our learn to skate program is open to skaters of all ages, with classes available for tots (ages 3-5), children (ages 6-12), and adults. For figure skating and power skating programs, we recommend skaters have completed the learn to skate program or have equivalent skating skills.
3. Do I need to bring my own skates for skating lessons in Montreal? Skates are not provided for skating lessons, so we recommend bringing your own skates. However, we do have limited rental skates available on a first-come, first-served basis.
We also offer skate sharpening services for a small fee.
