Join York Lindy for a 3-week course in Six Count Lindy Hop, perfect for beginners and those looking to improve their social dancing skills. No partner or previous dance experience is required to join. The course will introduce you to dances from the 1920s, 30s, and 40s, with experienced teachers breaking down footwork and teaching fun moves.
Level 2 of the course focuses on building confidence in social dancing, covering lead and follow techniques, challenging moves, variations, and footwork. Participants are encouraged to sign up for one role throughout the course, with the option to attend both the beginners and Level 2 classes at a discounted price.
The classes will be held at The Belfrey Hall in York, with the Beginners session from 7:30pm to 8:30pm and Level 2 from 8:45pm to 9:45pm on Thursdays starting from May 23rd, 2024.
