Emma, the founder and yoga teacher of Simply Self Care, is a multi-faceted individual who understands the demands and responsibilities of everyday life. She is a mother, wife, professional, friend, perfectionist, business owner, nature lover, leader, cook, cleaner, and children's entertainer, to name just a few of her roles. Emma's love for yoga and self-development began over a decade ago when she enrolled in a Yoga Teacher programme at a studio in London, while pursuing a career as a professional dancer. Through this experience, Emma's path transformed, and she spent the following five years managing and coaching a strong team while bringing the benefits of yoga and transformation to countless individuals.
After the birth of her eldest child, Emma returned to her roots in the Welsh Valleys and founded Simply Self Care in Abergavenny, South Wales. Throughout her teaching journey, Emma has worked with people from diverse backgrounds and abilities, including hospital staff, athletes, prisoners, professionals, and young people. She believes that simple and effective self-care practises are accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances. At the core of self-care is the self, and Emma is committed to helping individuals cultivate a deep understanding of themselves through yoga and wellness.
Emma believes that when individuals prioritise self-care and nurture their relationship with themselves, they can establish true vitality and create a positive impact in all areas of their lives. To Emma, self-care is about feeling good, becoming more resilient, and energised so that one's best becomes even better. By incorporating self-care routines into their lives, individuals can experience increased energy, reduced stress and anxiety, improved concentration and creativity, as well as better sleep.
