Signature Dance

Signature Dance is a vibrant and inclusive dance school located in Currumbin Waters, Queensland. As a supporting studio of the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance, Signature Dance offers a range of classes for dancers of all ages and skill levels.

The studio prides itself on providing high-quality dance education that focuses on correct posture, technique, musicality, presentation, discipline, and artistry. Classical ballet is the foundation of all dance styles taught at Signature Dance, and students have the opportunity to participate in ballet exams at the teacher's discretion. To be eligible for exams, students must attend a minimum of two ballet classes per week.

In addition to classical ballet, Signature Dance also offers classes in other dance styles. The Ready Set Dance programme is a one-hour combo class that introduces young dancers aged 2–5 years to jazz, tap, singing, music, and hip hop. This fun and energetic class gives students a taste of various dance styles and helps them develop a love for dance from an early age.

For older dancers, Signature Dance offers classes in lyrical, acrobatics, hip hop, musical theatre, jazz, and breakdance. Lyrical dancing combines elements of classical, jazz, and contemporary technique and allows dancers to express strong emotions through fluid and graceful movements. Acrobatics focuses on strength, conditioning, flexibility, and tumbling, complementing all dance styles. Hip hop is a commercialised style of dance that is funky and electric, perfect for dancers of all ages and skill levels.

Musical theatre classes teach Broadway-style choreography, stage presence, and acting skills, while jazz classes incorporate traditional jazz technique and allow students to learn new choreography each term. The boys crew/breakdance class is exclusively for boys and offers the opportunity to learn breakdance from one of Australia's champion B-Boys.

In addition to regular classes, Signature Dance also offers adult dance classes, allowing individuals of all ages to enjoy the benefits of dance in a casual setting. The studio provides a welcoming and supportive environment for dancers to learn, grow, and express themselves through movement.
