Shri Pathanjali Yoga Shikshana Samiti (R) Karnataka (SPYSS) is a beacon of holistic well-being and community service, rooted in the age-old traditions of Yoga. Established in 1980 from a humble yoga camp in Tumkur, Karnataka, it has blossomed into a global organization with over 700 branches, 40,000+ voluntary teachers, and millions of practitioners worldwide. This remarkable growth is guided by the visionary leadership of Chief Convener Shri A R Ramaswamyanna, inspired by the blessings and teachings of Holiness late Shri RaghavendraSwamiji of Malladihalli, Shri Ajit Kumar, and the renowned Padmavibhushan Dr. B. K. S. Iyengar.

SPYSS operates on the core principles of Sanskara (value-based behavior and activities), Sanghatane (identifying with a larger cause), and Seve (service to humanity).
