Joanne's Shraddha Yoga Centre has been a part of the Brighton community since 1985. Her yoga journey began in 1975 at the Gita School of Yoga, where she studied Hatha Yoga, Yoga Philosophy, and Progressive Yoga Relaxation. After becoming a qualified teacher in 1979, Joanne remained a teacher and student at the school until 1985 when she embarked on her independent teaching career. Over the years, she has continued her studies in Meditation and Yoga Philosophy, becoming a member and student of the Self-Realisation Fellowship, which disseminates the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.
