Saab Hasan's journey as a trainer is a remarkable one. Growing up in Cyprus, his family moved to Australia due to the war in Turkey. It was in Australia that Saab discovered his passion for horse racing, inspired by witnessing Van Der Hum's victory in the 1976 Melbourne Cup. Despite having no prior experience with horses, Saab persevered and knocked on every stable door at Flemington.
Eventually, he was given a break by Mick Cerchi, from whom he learned various aspects of training.
Saab's dedication and love for horses have driven him to establish SH Racing Pty Ltd. The transition to the new training facility in Tabilk signifies the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the school. With Saab's expertise and the excellent facilities provided, SH Racing is committed to nurturing horses and producing champions on the racetrack.
