The school offers various classes catering to different age groups and skill levels. The Little Ninja class, designed for children aged 4–6 years, focuses on fundamental skills and is held on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Junior Beginners and Junior Advanced classes cater to white to blue belt and purple belt to advanced students respectively, with classes offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
For seniors aged 14 and above, the school offers dedicated training sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The school also provides specialised Kobudo lessons for interested students, held on Thursdays.
During school holidays, the school offers classes for both juniors and seniors, allowing students to maintain their training and progress. However, there are no Little Ninja classes during this period. It is important to note that students can only progress to the next level once deemed ready by the instructors.
Sensei Josh, the dojo head instructor, possesses an impressive set of qualifications and skills. He holds a 3rd Dan Karate Black Belt and a 2nd Dan in Kobudo. With 20 years of karate experience and a background as a former national competitor, Sensei Josh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. He is also NCAS Level 1 accredited, First Aid certified, and holds a valid Working with Children Check.
Sensei Josh's favourite quote reflects his philosophy on personal growth: “Be your own Rival... strive to be better than you were the previous day! ” Outside his martial arts pursuits, Sensei Josh has interests in movies, anime, technology, cars, and music.
