Located in Melton West, Shindo Karate Association Melton is a martial arts school offering top-notch karate instruction for all ages and skill levels. Led by Sempai Annie and her team of dedicated instructors, the school is known for its engaging and fun approach to teaching.
With classes held five days a week, Shindo Karate Association Melton provides flexibility to suit even the busiest of schedules. The classes take place at two convenient locations: Staughton College on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and Arnolds Creek Primary School on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
The Melton dojo offers a variety of classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels. The Little Ninjas class is designed for children aged 4-6, focusing on building fundamental karate skills and discipline. Mighty Ninjas is a continuation of the Little Ninjas programme for children who have advanced to the red belt level and beyond. Dragons class is for students recommended by instructors and focuses on more advanced techniques.
Juniors are divided into three levels: Beginner Juniors, Intermediate Juniors, and Advanced Juniors. These classes cater to students with white to green stripe belt, green to purple belt, and orange stripe belt and above, respectively. Brown Belt classes are exclusively for students with brown belt and above, while Kata/Kumite classes are open to green belt and above.
Sempai Annie Noble, a 1st Dan Black Belt, leads the instruction at the Melton dojo. With Level 2 NCAS Coaching Accreditation and a Working With Childrens Check, Sempai Annie ensures a safe and nurturing environment for all students. She is a former member of Karate Victoria and brings a wealth of experience and passion to her classes.
