A word that means “wealth” or “prosperity,” so it was seen as a lucky day to get married. In the late 1980s, we started to think about having a family and decided to move out of London to find a more suitable place to raise children. In 1991, we moved to Keighley, a small town in West Yorkshire, England.
Keighley quickly became our home, and we fell in love with its beautiful countryside and peaceful atmosphere. We both had a passion for health and wellness, and we wanted to share our knowledge and experience with the community. In 1995, we opened the Sheila Murray – World of Wellness, a Yoga studio, Meditation instructor, and Sports club located in the heart of Keighley.
At Sheila Murray – World of Wellness, we offer a wide range of classes and services for all ages and fitness levels. Our Yoga studio provides a serene and welcoming space for individuals to practise various styles of Yoga, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga. Our experienced Yoga instructors guide students through each class, focusing on proper alignment, breathing techniques, and mindfulness. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, our classes are designed to help you improve flexibility, strength, and overall well-being.
In addition to Yoga, we also offer Meditation classes and workshops, led by our certified Meditation instructors. Meditation is a powerful practise that promotes relaxation, stress reduction, and mental clarity. Through guided meditation sessions, participants learn various techniques to calm the mind, cultivate inner peace, and improve emotional well-being. Our Meditation classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators, providing a safe and nurturing environment to explore this transformative practise.
As part of our commitment to promoting holistic wellness, we also have a Sports club within our facility. Our Sports club offers a variety of recreational activities, such as tennis, swimming, and fitness classes. It is a great way to stay active, connect with like-minded individuals, and enjoy the benefits of physical exercise. Our knowledgeable coaches and trainers are dedicated to helping our members achieve their fitness goals while ensuring a fun and inclusive atmosphere.
