Pinar, the heart and soul behind Shakti Birth Yoga & Doula, leads from her base in South East London. Her mission is straightforward: to provide women with the support they need through yoga classes, doula services, and wellness guidance.
Pinar's own path to motherhood was filled with challenges, including infertility and miscarriage, before she welcomed her first child through IVF. This experience inspired her to help other women discover their inner strength and wisdom. Her journey led her to focus on fertility, pregnancy, and early motherhood, offering informed and compassionate support.
Shakti Birth Yoga & Doula offers several key services. The Shakti Yoga class focuses on breathwork and creating a non-judgemental space for women at different stages of their journey, helping them find comfort and peace in their bodies. Pinar also provides the “Closing the Bones” ceremony, a postpartum massage that offers deep relaxation and care for new mothers.
Additionally, Pinar hosts the Mama Wisdom circle – a gathering where new mums can connect, share experiences, and receive the support they need.
