Serenity Yoga, located in Milton Keynes, is a yoga studio owned and operated by Paula, a highly experienced and passionate yoga instructor. With 17 years of practise under her belt, Paula offers a variety of yoga classes, including Hatha/Vinyasa flow, Yin, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, and meditation.
Paula's journey with yoga began unexpectedly, when she stumbled upon a yoga class after her regular exercise routine. Initially sceptical, she decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be a life-changing experience. Yoga not only improved her physical strength, stamina, and flexibility, but it also helped her find inner calmness and cope with the challenges life presents. In her classes, Paula emphasises reconnecting with the body and breath, encouraging students to listen to their bodies and adjust their practise accordingly.
She creates a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere, where laughter and the occasional tumble out of poses are embraced.
Serenity Yoga offers classes at two different locations. Classes take place at Zest Yoga Studio in Olney and at Big Rock Climbing Centre in Milton Keynes. The cost per class is 10, with the option to attend a monthly 2-hour workshop for 20. These classes are suitable for individuals of all yoga experience levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
Additionally, Serenity Yoga organises retreats that provide an opportunity for relaxation, rejuvenation, and inner peace through yoga, meditation, and pranayama. Paula loves teaching these retreats and finds great satisfaction in witnessing the group bond and seeing participants leave feeling refreshed and calm. The retreats welcome individuals of all yoga backgrounds and guarantee a unique experience every time.
In addition to yoga, Paula is also a qualified Reiki teacher, offering healing sessions at Serenity Yoga. With expertise in all three levels of Reiki (Shoden, Okuden, and Shinpiden), Paula has found that learning Reiki has greatly enhanced her ability to manage the fast-paced and stressful aspects of daily life. She is a member of the Reiki Federation and Association and is insured with Bluefin. Serenity Yoga also provides Thai Yoga Massage, a treatment that reduces headaches, alleviates lower back and joint pain, increases flexibility and mobility, and promotes overall relaxation and energy.
