St George Junior Dragontag is excited to announce the Seniors Home Non Competitive event at Scarborough Park Kogarah and Gannons Park Peakhurst. The aim is to provide a fun and relaxed environment for mixed-gender players aged between 5 to 8 to learn and enjoy the sport of Oztag.
For a fee of $100.00, inclusive of official shorts, participants can join in the action starting in September 2024 at Gannons Park Peakhurst and in October 2024 at Scarborough Park Kogarah. The games will run from 4:15 PM to 6:30 PM, offering plenty of time to play and have a great time on the field.
In the Non-Competitive division, the rules are slightly more flexible, with a focus on skill development and understanding the game. Teams will have just 6 players on a half-size field, ensuring everyone gets plenty of touches on the football. Newcomers and younger players will benefit from the guidance of referees who explain the game as it unfolds.
With divisions for mixed genders turning 5-6 and 7-8, children will have the opportunity to play for 8 weeks without worrying about points. It's a perfect way to introduce kids to the sport and build their confidence on the field.
