The course was meticulously designed and built by the legendary JH Taylor, a five-time Open Champion, on the land at Bullock Down, East Blatchington in 1907. Taylor embraced the natural features of the area, resulting in a delightful course that is playable all year round thanks to its free-draining chalk base.
Seaford Golf Club offers a joyous walking experience, with gentle gradients despite its downland position. As you make your way around the course, you'll be captivated by the charming clubhouse and sun terrace overlooking the 18th green and the 1st tee. Our lounge bar offers a wide range of local ales and a comprehensive all-day menu, creating an ideal place for members, societies, and visitors to relax and socialise.
For those looking to extend their stay, we provide fully serviced en-suite rooms in our Dormy House. In addition to comfortable accommodations, we offer a Full English breakfast and a five-course evening meal, making it the perfect base for a golfing break throughout the year.
Seaford Golf Club takes pride in maintaining the course in superb condition, ensuring both fun and fairness for all golfers. The course measures 6,234 yards off the yellow tees and 6,546 yards off the Whites. The chalk base of the course guarantees playability regardless of the season.
