Charmaine, the founder, is passionate about yoga and Reiki and is a qualified Hatha & Vinyasa yoga teacher (RYT 200) and Reiki therapist. Her journey into yoga began over 10 years ago when she attended her first yoga class and instantly fell in love with it. Through her yoga journey, Charmaine also discovered the benefits of Reiki and how it can positively impact the body and mind.

At Sangat Yoga & Reiki, Charmaine offers both yoga classes and Reiki treatments in the Hampshire and Surrey area. Whether you are new to yoga or have been practising for years, all levels are welcome at her classes. Charmaine understands that everyone has to start their yoga journey somewhere and encourages beginners to join her welcoming and supportive environment.

The word “Sangat” means group, fellowship, and family, and this is exactly what Charmaine aims to create at her yoga studio. She wants everyone to feel like they are part of the family and foster a sense of community. The studio provides a calm and inviting atmosphere where students can relax and focus on their practise.
